More people have gotten sick after eating Honey Smacks cereal. Back in June, Kellogg's issued a massive recall after a multi-state outbreak of salmonella infections was linked to the cereal. At that time, officials were advising that anyone with Kellogg's Honey Smacks cereal--regardless of size or "best if used by" dates--to NOT consume that cereal and throw it away immediately. Well, apparently, people weren't paying attention because now the CDC says that even more people have gotten sick after eating the cereal. The cereal salmonella outbreak has now infected 100 people in 33 states. Four people have been infected in Michigan.
