The All-Stars Are Coming To Downtown Lansing

The Midwest League All-Star Game takes place today at Cooley Law School Stadium. Lots of fun activities are taking place as part of the All-Star celebration including a block party, autographs, a home run derby, fireworks and LOTS more. Tickets are $15 and are available by clicking here. Some of the events that you can check out today are:

  • 3:00 p.m. - All-Star Block Party, with live music, games and a Ferris wheel!
  • 3:00 p.m. - Gates open, with a commemorative MWL All-Star Batting Helmet presented by LAFCU for the first 1,000 fans!
  • 3:30 - 4:45 p.m. - Team Autograph Sessions with the Western and Eastern Division All-Stars, with a free MWL All-Star Poster giveaway!
  • 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. - Kids Play Catch on the Field, inviting all little leagues onto Jackson Field to play catch. Everyone will feel like an All-Star!
  • 5:30 p.m. - Midwest League Home Run Derby, crowning the league's top slugger! A Lansing Lugnut has made it to the Home Run Derby finals in three straight seasons, with Ryan McBroom winning the title in 2015 and Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. finishing second last year.
  • The National Anthem sung by The Voice contestant Rebecca Brunner!
  • 7:05 p.m. - The 54th Midwest League All-Star Game presented by LAFCU! Future Major Leaguers who've played in the MWL All-Star Game include superstars Mike Trout, Clayton Kershaw, Miguel Cabrera, Albert Pujols, Noah Syndergaard, Carlos Correa and Francisco Lindor! Who will take center stage this year?
  • Postgame - A LAFCU Fireworks Spectacular!
