Really no surprise, but after almost 30 years, Bob Seger will be the last concert at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Bob will play there on September 23rd. According to the Detroit Free Press, the Palace will not compete with Little Caesars Arena for event bookings. After Seger's show (following Tim and Faith's show on September 8th) the Palace property will become a "research park". When that will actually happen depends on how soon a new practice facility can be built for the Pistons.

Seger seems like a good way for that place to go out. Enjoy the show.
