Flint Community Schools are about to receive some much needed aid.

According to MLive, "tech billionaire Elon Musk and his Foundation will pay for new filtration systems at Flint Community School buildings." The new filtration systems will cost over $480,00 for the equipment and the installation, and that's covering all 12 Flint school buildings.

Back in July, Elon Musk responded to a couple Tweets, commenting on his "commitment" to helping fund fixing the Flint Water Crisis as well as responding to Flint's Mayor about speaking with her about the city's needs; It seems Musk is making good on those comments.

The new water filtration systems will use UV light to "disinfect all lead and bacteria coming from the water pipes to allow students to drink from and fill up water bottles from school water fountains." To read more about Musk's donation and the new water filtration systems, click here.
