Sunday evening, you'll be able to see the "Full Cold" Supermoon. According to Newsweek, this is the only supermoon of 2017. The moon will rise to the northeast in the Lansing area, starting at 5:37 PM Sunday - just after sunset.

If you miss this supermoon, don't worry, we're getting TWO supermoons next month. One on January 2nd and a rare "blue" supermoon on January 31st. Plus, we have the Geminid meteor shower peaking on December 14. So, Merry Christmas, space nerds! (That includes me)
