I did not expect to wake up to see this fact today:

According to MLive.com, "A 2017 study by Athena Health found urologists in its network performed 30 percent more vasectomies during the first week of March Madness in 2016, compared with an average week during the rest of the year."

Huh. Makes sense. You're gonna need a couple days of rest after that and if you're a big hoops fan, you can just hang out on the couch all weekend, watching TV.

MLive talked to Jim Dupree, assistant professor of urology at Michigan Medicine, who says, at their surgery center in Livonia, between this Thursday and Friday and next week, they'll do about twice the number of vasectomies as they do in a typical month.

So, if you've reached your kid limit, do your wife a favor and just take care of it. The actual procedure takes 20 minutes and (eventually) you'll never have to change diapers again. It's something to think about.

And, yes - I did it. Many years ago. Live, on the radio. But, that's a story for another time.
