Spartan Stadium – Why Do You Hate Beer?

Athletic Director Mark Hollis says there will be "no discussion" about selling beer at Spartan Stadium. Part of his reasoning is, "Football Saturdays are to be enjoyed, not abused, and I don’t want to contribute to abuse.” According to the Lansing State Journal, Wisconsin has been selling beer at their home football games for the last two seasons, and their athletic director, Norwood Teague says, it's gone "pretty darn smooth".
