Sparrow Hair-A-Thon Is This Weekend

Sparrow Hospital will be cutting hair for a cause on Saturday, September 16th from 9am-noon. The Sparrow Children's Hair-A-Thon is held each September at Sparrow to coincide with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. People who have 8 or more inches of hair to donate can stop in and have their hair cut by professional stylists. The hair that is collected at the event will then be sent to organizations that provide wigs to children with hair loss.The FREE event will be held in the main lobby of the hospital.
