You can find all sorts of wild stuff in Michigan's Upper Peninsula - including parrots.

Dianna Larson runs the Snuttles Hut Parrot Rescue and Refuge in Norway, MI. According to John Carlisle in the Detroit Free Press, she's currently caring for 13 birds and four dogs that she's taken in. All from neglected backgrounds. All in her own home - which is a former miner's shack. She pays for everything out her own pocket. She's on disability and works part time as a cashier at a local drug store. But instead of being a "crazy bird lady", Dianna knows what she's doing - she's a certified avian specialist - but she needs a bigger space to house all the critters and money to feed them. So Dianna has started a GoFundMe page.
