I'm not making this up. According to The Telegraph out of Great Britain, a new show on their Sky 1 network will document 12 rescue dogs being trained to fly an aircraft. One of the 12 will actually be chosen to fly the aircraft. Not a radio controlled aircraft. A real single engine airplane (from the photos I've seen - a Cessna 172). This comes after an animal charity group trained dogs to drive cars in New Zealand.

As somebody who spent many hours learning how to do it, if you can train a dog to take off, maneuver and land a single engine Cessna - I'm there..
