Santa Claus Is Running For a Seat On The City Council

Sometimes you just can't make this stuff up...
In the tiny Alaska town of North Pole, a man named Santa Claus is running for a seat on the City Council. According to the News-Miner, the man's legal name is indeed, Santa Claus, and he is one of two candidates who have launched a write-in campaign to become a part of the North Pole City Council.
Who is the other person that's running against Santa? It would be amazing if it was someone named Jack Frost or Ebenezer Scrooge, but sadly, it's not. Her name is La Nae Bellamy.
