Roads To Avoid Today In The Lansing Area

The excessive rain has caused many road problems in the Lansing area. Flooding is a major issue along with some monstrous potholes. The lastest update from the City Of Lansing Facebook page has the following roads closed as of 9:25am on Wednesday:

Edgewood Boulevard at LaBelle
Pleasant Grove from Miller to Jolly
Aurelius Road at Jolly Road
Lindbergh east of Pennsylvania
127 Kalamazoo Exits are Closed

I asked the questions last night on our WITL Facebook page, "Where have you seen car damaging potholes? And flooded streets?" Here were the responses:

Also, keep in mind that according to WILX, there are many roads around MSU that you should avoid today. Those roads include Chestnut Road between Demonstration Hall Road, Red Cedar Road from Chestnut to Central Services, Northbound Red Cedar Road north of Shaw Lane and several parking lots will be closed today as well.
