Remember The WITL Country Music Guide?

It was great to meet Roger and Patti Jaquette a couple months ago at The Whiskey Barrel Saloon.

The Jaquette's, long-time Wittle Family members brought the station a little gift and I wanted to share it with you.

Remember these "WITL Country Music Guides" that you could find at record stores and other retail outlets in the area years ago? It was a way you could see what the station was playing before we had websites to post this stuff on.

Take a look at the songs and artists from December 14, 1981. You may notice that even back then, Country music crossed over to the pop charts with songs like, "Love In The First Degree", by Alabama and "The Sweetest Thing", by Juice Newton.
