For ten years, James Robertson walked 21 miles, every day, as part of his commute to and from work for his job at  Schain Mold & Engineering in Rochester Hills. He would get home at 4AM - and get up two hours later to go back to work. That all changed when the Detroit Free Press did a story about his commute. After the story came out, a Wayne State student named Evan Leedy set up a GoFundMe page for James. A Ford dealer gave James a new Taurus and the GoFundMe page brought in $350,000.

So, how's our buddy James doing these days?

This is where (these days), you might expect the story to take a horrible turn. You might expect that James would've quit his job and done something crazy with the money.

And that's where you would be wrong.

James is doing great and the money hasn't changed him one bit. Except, he's putting on weight because he doesn't walk 21 MILES A DAY!
