The Michigan DNR reports that 21 cases of rabies have been confirmed in Michigan. They also remind you that the peak season for rabies is right now. According to WZZM13.com, of the 21 animals found with rabies, 17 have been bats and 4 were skunks.

In our area, the DNR's map shows bats have been found with rabies in Ingham, Eaton and Jackson County.

The State recommends cornering and saving any bat that gets into your home, especially if there's any question about contact with the animal.

And take video of that whole "cornering" thing, 'cuz that's bound to be funny.
