I haven't seen or heard anything reported in Michigan about these pills, however, police in Georgia are warning residents to be on the lookout this Halloween for methamphetamine pills that look like candy. Police say the pills are 'stamped and resembled to look like specific candies.' The Dublin Police Department posted the warning about the pills on their Facebook page last week.

I'm not trying to scare anyone and again I haven't heard of any reports of this happening in Michigan but it is something to be aware of. There are some simple tips to keep in mind when it comes to making sure your candy haul is safe. First, do not let your child consume candy that had not been examined by an adult. If you have trick-or-treaters that are younger than three years old, be sure to examine any toys or novelty items for choking hazards. Also, never eat candy that has been unwrapped or broken.
