Photos Of Ionia Michigan Flooding

The sights of all of the flooding in the Lansing area over the last few days has been very dramatic. You can't drive by or through some of these places without some shock and surprise at how these areas you know so well now under water.

No less dramatic was the flooding I found this week in Ionia. Most of what I saw was around the area of the Grand River, where the water rose up and covered the rivers surroundings including the Ionia Fairgrounds.

Many people were stopping by the flooded areas, especially the fairgrounds, to look around, shoot some photos and to just take a minute to let the enormity of the situation sink in.

Here's hoping everyone who has been affected by all of the Michigan flooding are back to normal soon.
