Perry High School Mourns Student Killed In Weekend Accident
Grief counselors will be on hand today at Perry High School, as students and staff are mourning the loss of one of their own. According to WILX, icy road conditions are the cause of the rollover accident that happened Saturday night on I-69 that claimed the life of a Perry High School junior. Officials say eight teenagers were traveling in an SUV that hit black ice and flipped numerous times. The students were on their way to a birthday party when the accident occurred in Dewitt Township. According to the Argus Press, the student that passed away was a member of the Perry High School girl's basketball team. The game scheduled for tonight between Perry and Olivet has been cancelled.
