Should we kick the penny to the curb? The U.S. penny costs more than it's worth (1.6 cents). You can't really do anything with it. And a lot of our friends (Canada) have already dumped their "pennies" - and they're doing just fine.

And, frankly, it's not like the penny would be the first coin we've dumped. The half cent and the two cent piece still hate us. And we dumped them 150 years ago.

Sorry, penny. I'll always remember those mechanical horse rides at the grocery store and, when we got older, the penny slots at the casino.

And trust me, you'll always a have a place in our "loose change" jar.

I'm sorry, "loose change" is kinda an ugly term. How about "coin jar"?

And another story from some crazy guy, from Harvard, who says he doesn't need ANY currency at all. Must have just gone through a bad bankruptcy or something.
