1990 - Roseanne Barr sings National Anthem at Cincinnati Reds-San Diego Padres game.  First claiming she couldn't hear herself, then saying that baseball officials encouraged her to bring "humor" to the song, she rendered a "screechy" version of the National Anthem which received media attention and offended many.  To see a YouTube video of her singing the National Anthem, click here:
