At the tip of the lower Michigan peninsula is Wilderness State Park. It's already got a lot of great campsites, but, apparently it wasn't wild enough for SOME campers. So, the state is opening up a new full hook-up campground there - with another "rustic" tent only campground nearby. According to MLive.com, all of the sites are either on, or close to, the Lake Michigan shoreline on Big Stone Bay.

The state started taking reservations for the new campsites on Thursday and the campgrounds open up on June 23rd.
