As you WELL remember, it was almost exactly a year ago that I first talked (and posted a story) about the "Nazi gold train" in Poland. To refresh your memory - at the end of WWII, with the Russians closing in, the Nazis took a lot of their stolen gold and art and stashed it in secret hiding places. Two researchers say they think have discovered a train full of gold, artwork and weapons - in a rail tunnel in Poland that was buried to prevent discovery. And, they profess to have images from ground penetrating radar that proves it.

This week, according to the New York Times, they (and their team) started digging. They have three likely spots where they think the train may be buried. So far they've dug in two of the three spots, and - nothing.
