NASCAR has announced a new rule to address on-track incidents, obviously in response to the tragic accident Tony Stewart was involved in last week. The rule basically says drivers involved in on-track incidents will have to stay in the car (unless there's smoke or fire) until safety workers arrive - and after leaving the car, need to go immediately to the ambulance or other NASCAR vehicle to be taken off the track. There's no specific penalty if a driver disobeys the rule - but I'm sure we'll find out what they are eventually.
