More Michigan Morel Mushroom News

Have you heard? - it's mushroom hunting season all over Michigan.

Next month, Boyne City in northern Michigan will host the 57th annual National Morel Mushroom Festival. May 18th through the 21st, people will gather to hunt, cook and even sing about morel mushrooms. On that Friday afternoon, a seminar will give you tips on how to be a better mushroom hunter. Which will come in handy when you enter the National Morel Mushroom Hunting Championship on that Saturday.They'll have a carnival for the kids while you eat mushrooms and drink beer and wine.
