Mid-Michigan Bowling Alley Named “Best in Michigan”

Congratulations to E-Lanes in Fowler - they've been named the best bowling alley in Michigan by the staff of MLive.com. And they didn't win by being the largest bowling alley in Michigan - E-Lanes has only six lanes and six beer taps. Greg and Elaine Gilliland (get it? E-Lanes?) bought the old Fowler Lanes in 2012 and spent 13 months remodeling it. After all that, lightning hit the building and burned it to the ground. How many fire departments showed up to battle the fire? Six. Crazy, I know.
