Say it ain't so...officials say that northern Michigan's wine industry may suffer this year following two years of poor grape crops. According to Mlive.com, the area's 2015 crop was hit by a long, cold winter that was followed by a late spring frost and then was hit by some hail in August. Because of the bad weather, last year wine vineyards throughout the state of Michigan lost 50% of their crops, totaling about $3.5 million.

Now before you get all sad, here's some good news. Officials say that 2013 was a huge year for the vineyards and they say that to counter the bad numbers for this year, they'll just sell more wines from 2013. I guess you could call it 'vintage' wine...hey, by the way, speaking of booze...if wine really isn't your thing, don't forget that Lansing On Tap is coming next month! (Find out more here...)
