Michigan’s Dry Weather May Ruin Christmas
The recent dry weather in Michigan is already having an impact on many July 4th celebrations and now comes word that the dry weather may have a major impact on Christmas celebrations, too.
According to a report from WILX, the dry weather is hurting Christmas tree farms in Michigan. At Peacock Road Tree Farm in Laingsburg about 4,000 new trees have already been destroyed and at Tannenbaum Farms in Mason, they're watering trees with an irrigation system--something they haven't had to do in the last 40 years.
