Michigan State’s Suzy Merchant Logs 400th Win

It was a big weekend for the MSU women's basketball team. First, they beat Minnesota 114-106. Second, with the win over Minnesota, MSU head coach Suzy Merchant recorded her 400th career win in her 21st season as a head coach of the Spartans. According to the Lansing State Journal, Coach Merchant is now just one win shy of her 200-win mark at Michigan State.

The Spartans now only have two regular-season games left this year. The team travels to Illinois for a game on Wednesday, February 24th. They will wrap up their regular season play on Saturday, February 27th in a game against first-place Ohio State. The game against the Buckeyes will also be senior day for the team. The action starts at 2pm at the Breslin Center.
