Michigan State’s Denzel Valentine – NCAA Player of the Year?
Michigan State's Denzel Valentine is a STRONG contender to be named the NCAA's Player of the Year in men's basketball. He was the favorite early on. Then he had knee surgery and now he's the subject of a conspiracy theory, that suggests that he and Coach Izzo faked the knee injury. (Go ahead, I'm rolling my eyes, too) The good news is - he now appears to be the guy to beat.
Anyway, according to the Free Press, to help the Player Of the Year (POY) voters remember how versatile Valentine is, MSU just sent out 500 multi purpose tools (get it?) with a knife, flashlight and bottle opener.
Michigan State plays Ohio State tonight at 9PM. Thanks ESPN. I'll be a little sleepy tomorrow.
