Michigan State Police Want To Add An Aerial Drone To The Force
Michigan State police want to use an aerial drone to photograph vehicle crash scenes and give them a better view of other emergency situations. According to the Detroit News, the police department hopes to get permission next month from the Federal Aviation Administration to fly the remote-controlled helicopter across the state.
The drone will cost around $158,000 and state police pilots have been training to use it for more than a year. (For the record, Banana Don has volunteered to fly it, too.)
