The skull and antlers of a 5,000 year old elk will go on display soon at the Michigan State Museum. The skull and antlers were actually found 30 years ago, in a peat bog in Shiawassee County. According to the Detroit News, researchers from MSU went to get them one day - and they were gone.

How'd they finally make it to the MSU Museum? Click here for the story.

If you've never been to the MSU Museum - GO! The Jefferson family spent several afternoons there over the years. Here's some info about hours and location.
