Michigan State Basketball – After Losing 7 Players, Izzo’s Fired Up
Michigan State had it's basketball media day on Thursday. Coach Izzo lost a total of seven players since last season. How's he feel about that? Apparently, it just has him fired up to see what he can do with a young team with little experience. “That’s invigorating, to be honest,” Izzo said. According to The Mining Journal in Marquette and the Associated Press, the last time Izzo had this many "departures" was 2001. But. to be fair, this incoming freshmen class of players is one of the best he's ever had. So, look for a lot of freshmen to get playing time this year.
The Spartans start their regular season on November 11th, vs Arizona, in Honolulu.
