Michigan Railroad Crossing Closed Due To Accident
The railroad crossing at I-96 and M-52 in Leroy Township is closed due to a tanker/train accident. According to officials with the Ingham County Homeland Security & Emergency Management, a westbound train collided with a tanker truck that was stuck attempting to cross the railroad tracks. No injuries were reported. Officials say that the stretch of road will be closed until approximately noon today for cleanup.
