If you didn't watch the Olympic ice-dancing competition last night, you may have heard that the "ShibSibs", from Ann Arbor, won the bronze medal. They skated great and there was no way they were going to beat the Canadians, who put on an ice-dance clinic - and I don't know anything about ice-dancing.

However, the other two teams from Michigan had their share of problems last night. Okemos’ own Madison Hubbell and partner Zachary Donohue finished fourth when Zachary lost his balance and had to catch himself from falling. It was worse for Madison Chock and Evan Bates, who got tangled up in each others' skates and fell - a rare occurrence in ice-dancing. According to MLive.com, they finished ninth. Gotta hand it to them for getting up and finishing the routine after that.

Madison and Evan - see ya in Beijing in 2022.
