Michigan Nursing Home Asking For Christmas Cards
Are you looking for a way to make someone's Christmas a little brighter? Here's something simple and very sweet.
According to FOX 17, a nursing home in the Grand Rapids area is asking people to send a Christmas card to their residents. The idea started because Pat Rapolevich wouldn't be able to spend Christmas with her 92-year-old mother, Margaret Sauka, who lives at St. Ann's Home in Grand Rapids. She thought having people send her mom a card would make her feel special during the holidays. The nursing home agrees and would like all of their residents to get a card for Christmas.The idea is spreading on social media and the cards are starting to appear.
