Michigan Needs A World Record Event Like This
I think it would be a lot of fun to have an event like this in Mid-Michigan. Back in March, a group of people in Maryland broke the Guinness World Record for the longest human mattress domino chain. (I swear there's a World Record for everything.) They had 1,200 people show up to participate in the human domino chain and it took about 13 minutes and 38 seconds for the last 'domino' to fall. Here's what it looked like:
According to Guinness World Record officials, the previous record for a human mattress domino chain was 1,150. The event was put on by Aaron's Incorporated and they say they will be donating all 1,200 mattresses to Washington-area organizations focused on ending poverty and providing shelter to homeless families.
