A Manistee County man named Tim O' Brien found a 92 pound Petoskey stone on Tuesday. We don't have ALL the details, but according to 9&10 News out of Traverse City, we know that he found it in the water just off shore of Northport, near the northern tip of the Leelanau Peninsula.

I've found a lot of Petoskey stones on our trips to....Petoskey. But they're usually very small. To the left, enjoy a photo of the biggest Petoskey stone I ever found. It's about 1/92 as big as the one Tim found.

Will there be Petoskey stones sold at the World's Largest Yard Sale, Saturday at the Summit in Dimondale? I don't know - you'll have to go to find out. Click here for more info.
