Have you ever won some money with a lottery ticket and then found out later that it was worth more than you thought? Well, according to MLive, that's exactly what happened to a 24-year-old lottery player in Saginaw.

The story goes something like this: Samantha Midcalf-Gulliver bought a $3 Grand Cashword instant lottery ticket. (She's a big fan of the cashword and bingo scratch-off tickets.) Samantha thought she had nine words on the ticket, which meant that she won $1,000--not too bad. However, when she went to redeem the ticket, the clerk told her she had 10 words, which meant she won the grand prize of $100,000!

To make this story even more fun, Samantha's birthday is THIS SUNDAY! That will make for a truly Happy Birthday! To read more about the winning ticket, click here.
