Today is the first (and longest) day of summer. The summer solstice will occur at 6:34PM tonight. Sunset will officially be at 9:20PM. Which means there will still be sunlight until around 10PM.

As an added bonus, tonight, somewhere around 8:45PM, we'll see the Strawberry Moon (an astronomical event - not one of the characters in "My Little Pony")

According to the Washington Post, the last time these two events occurred on the same day was June 21, 1967 - during the Summer of Love. The next time it will happen will be June 21, 2062.

So, tonight would be a good night to let your 21st century hippie freak-flag fly.
