Michigan Hunters Need To Get Their Stuff Out Of The Woods
Is your tree stand, scaffold, raised platform, ladder, steps and other "tree-climbing devices" gone from public land yet? If not, state officials say that you have until March 1st to remove said items before you face possible jail time and/or a $500 fine.
The Department of Natural Resources is reminding hunters that those hunting items cannot be placed on public land before September 1st AND must be removed by March 1st.
