Michigan High School Class President Promises ‘Senior’ Prom
Remember when you were in school and the person who was running for class president would always make some crazy campaign promises like only candy bars served for lunch, longer recess breaks or nap times? (Maybe that just happened at my school...) Anyway, here's a cool story that recently happened at a high school in Michigan.
Dustin Wood, a high school student at Davison High School in Michigan made a very unique campaign promise when he ran for senior class president. His promise--if elected--was to hold a prom for seniors in the area, as in senior citizens. Well, according to Mlive, Wood won the election and the seniors enjoyed their prom which was hosted by Davison high school students this past Saturday.
