The Dog Days of Summer aren't done with Michigan just yet.

According to MLive, Michigan is in for another hot spell. Michigan can expect the heat wave to move in this Sunday and stick around for several days. It's going to be worse in the southern half of the lower peninsula, with temperatures expected to be in the low-to-mid 90 degree range for up to five days in a row (be aware that Lansing has been included in the 90 degree weather range). The rest of Michigan will be a little luckier, in that the temps may not reach the 90s, but they'll DEFINITELY be on the hotter side.

MLive meteorologist Mark Torregrossa says that while seeing temps in the 90s isn't completely bizarre for the end of August, seeing so many days in a row of the warmer temps is, especially because we typically see temperatures in the mid-to-upper 70s by the end of August.
