Michigan firearms deer season is coming up – let’s review last year

I've been out bowhunting and at least where I'm hunting, there seem to be more bucks this year. We'll see how it turns out, but the DNR says it was a mild winter for most of Michigan which means more deer survived - most importantly, the fawns.

Here's a story from MLive.com, showing how many deer were taken and the success rates of hunter in each of the deer hunting units in the state.
