Michigan Dept. Of Education Releases School Accountability List
Where does your child's school rank in the Michigan Department of Education's school accountability data list for 2014? Mlive.com has an easy way for you to get the results.
You can check it out here: See how Michigan's schools ranked on 2014's accountability measures
The results are based on a numerical score which is calculated from the results of five factors. Schools are then graded as green, lime, yellow, orange or red. Schools that do not have enough data to fully calculate a score, particularly new schools, receive a purple ranking. According to the results, my son's school district (I shall let it remain nameless here...) is a RED on this list. Hmm....that's not real comforting...good luck with yours! :)
