Saturday will be the opening day in Michigan for archery deer season. I've decided to hold off until the weather cools down a bit and we get closer to the rut, BUT, good luck to YOU, if you'll be out there tomorrow.

Each year the Michigan DNR puts out a deer hunting forecast. The Sentinal-Standard out of Ionia shared this year's forecast yesterday. Apparently the DNR is expecting a slightly more successful season across the state for hunters. It was a hot summer, so my farmer friends say the corn will be coming down fairly early this year, which will help a little.
