The Michigan Wolverines had a pretty good basketball season. They made it all the way to the championship game. A lot of that has to be attributed to Coach Beilein. But, now comes news from MLive.com, that Coach Beilein interviewed for the head coach job with the NBA's Detroit Pistons, last Thursday. Coach Beilein makes about $3.4 million a year coaching the Wolverines, but he's working on a contract extension into the 2020-2021 season now and....crickets.

In the NBA, he could double that salary. And, it would be the next logical step up in coaching, for a guy who's 65 years old.

Of course, every time the Spartans have a big year, we hear that Coach Izzo's going to go to the NBA. He almost did take the job with Cleveland in 2010, but returned to the Spartans.

My guess is that Coach Beilein will stay in Ann Arbor, but - you never know.
