The Michigan basketball team had a scary moment Wednesday, on their way to the Big Ten Tournament, when their charter aircraft had to abort it's takeoff from Willow Run Airport, reportedly due to the high winds. Whatever happened, there must have been a good reason to shut things down. After aborting the takeoff and braking heavily, the aircraft veered off the runway. The airplane got pretty beat up, but nobody was hurt.

ClickonDetroit, the team got back on another (much bigger) plane and went to D.C. for their game against Illinois at noon today. They arrived safely:
