Meteor Shower Coming To Mid-Michigan This Weekend

The weather should be nice this weekend, so get ready for a new meteor shower.

This is a brand NEW meteor shower, coming from the dust of a comet with the sexy name 209P/LINEAR - and according to National Geographic, you might be able to see 200 shooting stars per hour - so get those wishes ready. NASA says the best place to look is to the right of, and below the Big Dipper.

The peak time around here will be Friday night/Saturday morning from 2 until 4AM.

So when you close the bar down, and head out to the parking lot...look up.
