Meijer Issues Recall On Two Types of Store-brand Deli Cheese

If you're a shopper of Meijer brand deli cheese, be sure to check yours.

According to MLive, Meijer issued a recall yesterday of "its Meijer brand Colby and Colby Jack deli cheese... because of potential listeria contamination." The recall affects those two varieties of cheese sold between November 10th and February 9th.

At this time Meijer hasn't experienced any calls relating to people getting sick from the cheese, but better safe than sorry. If you have some of the recalled cheese, either "throw it out of return it to the Meijer service desk for a full refund." Get more info about the recall HERE.
