According to ESPN, Matthew Stafford--the Detroit Lions quarterback--is about to become the highest-paid NFL player in NFL history. Stafford is signing a deal with the Lions that will have an average annual value of $27 million. But that's not all...the deal also includes a $50 million signing bonus.
